I have worked in the financial sector for 40 years. My career started with NatWest in the retail banking sector. I completed my Banking exams and worked my way through the ranks. I later decided on a change of direction and joined a firm of Independent Financial Advisors, specializing in mortgage advice, and subsequently became CeMap qualified.
I joined HYFi in 2007 as a Mortgage Advisor and just a few months later the Global Financial Crisis hit! The Credit Crunch was a challenging time as was the Covid Pandemic and the subsequent economic turmoil but I have been resilient and adaptable, shaping the nature of the advice, and the advice process, to suit the ever changing Regulatory and financial landscape. Since 2013 I have managed the Mortgage Department.
I am passionate about supporting my clients through their mortgage journey, whether that is arranging a new deal with an existing lender, re-mortgaging, helping clients buy their first or subsequent home, or building a property portfolio.
I am now helping the children and even grandchildren of my original clients get on the housing ladder. As a “nanny” of 5 grandchildren of my own, I am thrilled and honoured to be a part of the legacy of so many other families.
